Good morning! I am sure everyone is very excited about the holidays and is looking forward to Christmas. My little ones sure are! As some of you know, the hubby and I recently welcomed our third little girl, Amelia, into our family so I've been a little behind on blogging. Nonetheless, I am back and ready to showcase more beautiful family, child, maternity and nursing sessions!

Today I am proud to present one of my first clients, the W family. We've had many fun sessions together and this family is sweet as can be! They have two little girl, D and N, who are always spirited yet precious. Moreover, they could not be more adorable so it's always wonderful to have them in front of my camera.

For their session, I had them meet me at Telge Park, one of my favorite locations. We met during golden hour so that the light is soft, flattering and looks timeless, too. Good morning, folks! Today it's a beautiful day in Houston and I am catching up on the blog before my day begins. While we've had some icky weather, this weekend looks lovely and I am looking forward to a lifestyle newborn session this afternoon and of course spending the morning with my little ones, Emma and Lucy. 

However, enough about me: let's chat about the D Family and their absolutely perfect natural light, on location family photography session! As a photographer, I am based in Cypress, a suburb of Northwest Houston. A few things I most like about their session: (1) The light is lovely as the session took place early in the morning, (2) the posing feels warm, connected and timeless. This honors your family for years to  come, and (3) their little one is so precious! I cannot say how much I enjoyed my time with her.

The O Family 

Good morning, y'all! As a Houston area photographer, I love working with families. It's wonderful to document your milestones and meet your precious children! I also adore when you invite me to your home for a session or perhaps, like this beautiful family, have a stunning property to utilize. There was even a little bit of fall foliage - and as Texans know, it's usually pretty green year around. 

The O family could not be more sweet or accommodating. We had to reschedule their session 3 times due to the poor weather, and on the last session date, we went ahead and braved the yucky rain and dodged rain  clouds in order to have them in front of my camera. I never say no to an adventure! I must mention their clothing color choices, too. This is a great option and has a timeless, classic feel because it resonates well with wall art. You want to avoid color schemes that date the images and instead choose something that does not conflict with any time of the year; this way, you're free to hang the images year around or perhaps gift them.
