Amazing does not do justice in describing Sarah and her work. She is extremely talented, sweet and personable. We chose Sarah to do the newborn and sibling photos when we added our 5th child. Our children photographed were 7, 4, 2, and newborn. Our 2 year old decided she would not be cooperative during the session, but Sarah was extremely patient while we tried to get our toddler to participate. She was flexible during the whole session and because of that we ended up with beautiful sibling photos.
The newborn session was great. You could tell that Sarah was very experienced with newborns. I LOVED the rich jewel tones colors that Sarah chose for the session. I'm ecstatic with the results and look forward to having these captured moments displayed in my home.

Let me start of by saying that Sarah was absolutely AMAZING! She was so patient, calm, and took all the time she needed. Our baby was in the NICU so her pictures were done at 14 days old instead of the usual 5-9 days, & she did every thing she could to get me a froggie pose picture since it was one of my request. Starting with our maternity pictures, Sarah was very professional and clear about what to expect. She brought a very pretty quilt and gave helpful advice on wardrobe selections for me and my husband. I live in Cypress, Texas and started my search for the best newborn/child photographer in the area. I came across Sarah's work and immediately fell in love. From my first contact with her up until I received my photos- she was extremely professional and organized.
When the kids and I arrived at her studio (which was extremely nice btw) she had a written plan for our session. I could also tell how passionate she was about her work. She talked about the adorable newborn wraps she'd be doing and took the time to explain things because she saw I was interested. She mentioned she keeps up with her classes, but upon walking in I could tell Sarah was a pro.
She made sure my infant and my toddler were perfectly comfortable the entire session. I also throughly enjoyed hanging out with her. It can me hard being new mom and it was nice getting out. She made it fun. Before we left, Sarah let me decide if I wanted her to share photos on social media and when I said yes she told me the dates I'd receive our photos via a link on email and sneak peek on Instagram and Facebook. Again, it was refreshing to meet another Mama with awesome organizational skills and passion for what they do.
I was blown away by our photos when I received them!!!!!! As my Aunt said, "she is a true artist." I will treasure my son's infant photos and our sibling photos forever. Sarah made the entire process of photographing my son an absolute dream. She understood my vision of what I wanted everything to look like, she worked with me on picking out colors and coordinating clothes, and she even pinpointed a perfect location. During the shoot, Sarah got my son involved in the entire process and talked with him, played with him, and encouraged him the entire time. This was not just a normal posed photography session- this was Sarah capturing my son in a candid manner that truly allowed him to shine through. She was versatile, creative, and really in tune with my son when he was ready to just get up and run rather than sit still. Once we were done, my photos were ready for viewing within a handful of days, and my final edited shots were mailed out shortly thereafter. Sarah made the whole experience so easy for us. She responded to emails quickly and helped guide us through her pricing chart so we could find the best option for our family.
When I booked the session for my twin girls, she was very flexible knowing that they would likely be born early. When I let her know of their birth a month earlier than expected, she was able to work them in to her schedule.
Sarah was prepared for having two girls and got an assistant so both girls were handled safely throughout the entire session. She ensured that we would have ample time for the session so we could have both individual shots and shots of the girls together. She talked me through the session so I was comfortable with each pose and took into consideration my preferences. She made sure each wrap and prop fit were items I liked, and had done her preparations prior to my session so she did not need to waste our session time pulling items for the girls. Because the girls were preemies and small, Sarah ensured they were handled with extra care and used props that were safe for their size.
While I was so impressed with her skill, knowledge, and gentle handling of my daughter, the final products she provided are what truly made it all worth it. Each and every picture is beautiful and showcases my girls perfectly. It is obvious she put time and attention to every detai.
I could not imagine anyone doing a better job of capturing the precious memory of our sweet newborns.

My kids ages: 4.5, 2, and 9 months.
Why did I decide to use an expensive photographer and skip over 1. My own cameras and 2. my phone?? I wanted to be in the photos. My oldest is at that turning point where she is loosing that baby/toddler look and I see "big kid" more and more. I needed to freeze this time with her. I wanted to capture her personality and those silly smiles. Also, these are photos I am going to hang on my walls! My mom still has photos from when I was little on hers, so when I look at it like that, it is how Sarah says, this is an investment.
I knew when I got my photos back I hadn't made a mistake. Y'all you gotta do this so you can gasp at the beauty of your children when you sit down and look at photos of them. The softness that is captured, the sun light on my kids, and the little details that make your kids your kids -- Sarah captures that. Those small details made it all worth it.
Our initial day to shoot the temps dropped to upper 40s!! I was so amped to take the photos the cold didn't bother me, but my kids it did. So we came back out when our schedules matched up.
Also, she was more than accommodating when the couches I ordered had to be dropped off the day before and picked up the day after the shoot. She saved my vision I had for my photographs!
The thing that played a big factor is the copy right release Sarah provides with the photographs she takes.
As someone who bills by the hour and everything I create/draft/prepare I know belongs to the person who has paid me for my time. So I can't grasp the concept that a photographer thinks they own my photos after I have paid them for their time and talent.
Getting a hold of Sarah was VERY easy. She responded almost immediately, and always within a couple of hours. Her dedication to her company and clients is evident from the moment you reach out to her. As a person who lives in a world of extensions (and also currently remodeling my home which apparently has no deadline), it was refreshing for deal with a person who actually stuck to their due dates.
Because Sarah also has her own children, and is in the throws of dealing with a spirited 2 year old (in addition to a baby), she has the patience and cool calmed reserve to orchestrate a photo shoot with a baby and toddler.
I will use her services again, and I highly recommend you make the wise decision to use her as well.

“The morning of our scheduled shoot, my 10 day old baby needed to go to the dr because she was having some difficulty breathing. Sarah was so accommodating and understanding of our situation and allowed us to come in later in the day. She was consistently great at communication, answering any questions I had, and replying to emails exceptionally fast!
During the shoot, Sarah was an absolute professional with our baby. Her studio was set up to allow for the most comfort for baby. She handled our little one like she was her own child, and our baby was never once in distress during the 3+ hour shoot.
