The L Family is Having a Girl | Sweet and Classic Maternity Photography

Good morning! Today is sort of yucky here in Cypress, though I am hard at work on editing, blogging, e-mails and of course designing your beautiful natural light, on location sessions! Today's blog post previews a lovely family and their session showcasing both maternity and family work! For your sessions, especially maternity, I always welcome the entire family to participate because pregnancy *is* a growing family milestone. For the L family, I had them meet me at Telge Park in northwest Houston. We've had so much rain yet we worked around it and this made for a fun session. I am truly looking forward to meeting their little girl. She has officially arrived so stay tuned for the newborn session! I'll be photographing her next week. <3

Lighthearted and Fun Lifestyle Family Session at Coles Crossing Park

Good morning! I am so excited that the weather has cleared up some and I am able to document many beautiful family, maternity, child and newborn sessions. It's wonderful working with everyone and I look forward to each and every session! Between my morning and evening sessions, I am catching up on the 'ol blog! This is where I love sharing highlights from my sessions, showcase what I'm working on, and tell my favorite details.

This natural light and on location Cypress photography session took place in Coles Crossing; we played at the park and just celebrated family and baby bumps! Cypress TX Family Photographer | Paint Fight + Trash the Dress | The M Family

Good afternoon! Today I have been hard at work editing 2015 fall family, child, maternity and newborn sessions. I retouched *ten* today and so I feel quite accomplished! However, speaking of accomplished - let's start by previewing the beautiful M family and their session highlighting 10 years of marriage. Ten years, three boys, and a dress can only equal one thing....a paint fight in which we trashed the dress! Life can be messy and hectic and oh so chaotic...and that's what makes it beautiful. The M family session celebrates the very nature of parenting boys and embracing who they are. Here are some of my favorite images!

We started by taking photos of each little boy and showing off the lovely 10! Then we had to do a "before" or each child, haha!

After this, I recreated some special photos for Mom and Dad. We did the same poses from their wedding 10 years ago!
