Good morning! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful Texas weather! I'm starting to not trust my local weatherman: according to the weather report, it was supposed to be in the low 40's today and raining. However, as I sit at my desk, the warm light and sunshine is shining through the blinds, and there's not a drop of rain in sight. :) Ha!
Nevertheless, I am thrilled to present you with Lucy's 6 month child photography session! As some of you know, she is my youngest and we're so in love with her! Emma, our oldest, is a great big sister. Lucy has brought much joy and laughter to our home. It's only fitting we celebrate her 1/2 birthday with a beautiful session in Cypress, Texas.
When Lucy was born, she was a chubby ball of red hair and blue eyes. A little cherub. Because of this, I've been planning a session in which she resembles a little cupid baby; dusky pinks and flower crowns. I contacted a local vendor named Diana to design her crown; she did a wonderful job understanding my vision. Moreover, my mother in law and I scoured Etsy to find the perfect lace dress for Lucy. We ended up ordering one for Emma, too, as we attempted some sibling shots. :)
My favorite part of Lucy's session is how happy she is! She's at the age where she's rocking back and forth on her hands and knees, but is not yet crawling, so she stays in place. Ha! She also is a very happy baby, often cooing and babbling.
Emma also participated in the photo session, too. Sometimes she is interested and sometimes she's not. That evening, we didn't get many shots as she had a long day at school, but I am still super thrilled to have images Lucy and Emma together.
