Houston TX Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Howdy to you! Thanks for stopping by my blog today and previewing one of the latest outdoor maternity sessions I've documented. As a photographer, I have a succinct focus on maternity, family and newborn portraiture, though I am currently specializing in newborn photos, meaning a large majority of my sessions are either posed or lifestyle baby sessions. However, many of my clients choose to utilize my maternity + first year baby plan membership. This is popular because this package consists of a beautiful, natural light maternity session that highlights both baby bump and your spouse (or any kiddos you may also have), a posed fine art newborn session that takes place in the comfort of your home, and then also a 6 month/sitter milestone session and a 12 month cake smash. The investment is $1300 + sales tax with the option to purchase stunning heirloom and archival professional products. There is also the option to upgrade to more high resolution digital files, yay! 

For the M family, we chose a location in Cypress - a suburb of Northwest Houston. Most of my sessions take place in either Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Cypress, Jersey Village, etc., though I am always available for travel. The sessions, however, always take place around sunrise or sunset. This is to ensure your baby bump has prime lighting and nature showcases all that is beautiful about pregnancy and the photography surrounding such.

This morning, in fact, I photographed this couple's perfect newborn baby girl (Presley!!!) and so I'm excited to introduce her to you when she was still cooking. Howdy, everyone! It's been a little quiet on my blog lately. While I strive to post around 4 sessions per week, lately things have been crazy! For instance, school is officially out and my dad is moving so we've been helping him pack. However, I also photograph families, children, baby bumps and newborns full time so y'all have been keeping my quite busy. I love every second of it though and would not trade my fantastic job for anything in the world! 

Enough about me, though. Let's talk about beautiful Ebony and her gorgeous maternity session. She is beautiful, right?! When she arrived to her session, I instantly thought, "Wow! What a stunning bump!" For her session, we used the waterfall location; this is in Cypress and is quite popular. I like using this for both maternity and nursing sessions as it's calm and serene; we want to evoke a sense of peace.

During our time together, the light is extremely important to me! I like to think of myself as a lover of ethereal light; your entire session design is based around it. Aside from my time and talent, you also receive a large selection of hand picked locations to peruse. I present you with a beautiful list so you may pick your favorite location. 

As you can see, the waterfall location is pure perfection. The warm light envelopes the subject and reflects beautifully along the water.

Family and Maternity Sessions are Priced as the following:

Simple $300.00

The simple collection includes 60 minutes of the photographer's time and talent, as well as 15 custom and retouched full resolution digital files plus released printing rights. There is a $100.00 non-refundable retainer to secure your spot on the calendar; the final balance is due on the day of your session. 

After the photography session, you're presented with a beautiful, password protected gallery in which the top images from your session are displayed. You select your favorite images! You're welcome to purchase additional files via a la carte or the entire gallery for one flat rate, however, there is absolutely no obligation. Your session takes place in one of the beautiful outdoor locations I offer - here is a list for you to select from. Well, good morning to you! Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning to see the latest maternity session I've documented. As a mama, I know how special these sessions are. It's a way to celebrate your pregnancy; it's all about showcasing the bonds between your spouse/partner and you. I strive to capture authentic, pure images of you reveling in all your motherhood glory.

Isn't Mom beautiful? She is epitome of grace and beauty; the soft sunlight rises behind her and lends an organic, natural feel. I produce images that radiate peace and serenity; the more baby bumps I have in front of my camera, the more I fall in love with maternity portraiture. I love the light against your belly, the sun filling your hair, a smile upon your face. During these moments, I often ask you to think about your baby; envision her face, and how her tiny little hands will feel as the clutch your finger for the first time. 

My favorite part of this beautiful couple's maternity session is their connection. While it's nice to have part of the session feel a little more traditional with the typical smiling images, everyone looking at the camera, ect, I most prefer to guide you into an organic experience. I like for you to focus on the bump and your spouse. I move around frequently and let the light showcase the session. 

I cannot thank this couple enough! We originally were supposed to do a sunset session, though the weather had other plans for us. We began at 7:00 a.m. for these (in April) and I cannot be more pleased with the session. I am really looking forward to meeting their precious baby girl, too!
